President's Dinner and Auction

Our club's annual President's Dinner and Auction was held on June 16th at the Seattle Yacht Club. According to those who attended, it was both enjoyable and successful. Forty seven people (28 Rotarians) attended. The club cleared about $10,500 (a new record?). Jim White and John Rose were the big spenders. Auctioneer Scott Jamieson was in rare form as usual. Steve Barton sold close to $500 in raffle tickets! Some in attendance noted however that 5 out of the 7 raffle winners were sitting at his table.

Keith Prince received the POR Jim Daly award and was wondering where the frog would find a place of honor in their home. Lee Raaen received the club's Rotarian of the Year award.
